I wonder what will happen when people find out their phone providers and the government are working on shutting down the net as we know it..

Can't imagine it will be good for their business or reputations.

I`ve been waiting for this to happen. Gov. can`t stand to not have control of every aspect of our lives. I think what will happen will be like the satellite system for those old enough to remember. I remember before cable TV we had satellite (a huge disk you put in your yard) that allowed us free access to hundreds of channels even world wide. Then one day we got a letter that said ppl now had to purchase cable that would only allow us to buy a pkg of channels & the satellite was now illegal.
