Kevin Garnett Pictorial Mix ~In My Lifetime~

This is a Kevin Garnett pictorial mix, and is my first time attempting anything like this.

The mix can be divided into two parts -- in fact, I initially considered uploading this as two different mixes, but decided that they work well together to tell a story. The first part is the championship run, and includes at least one photo from EVERY game (that KG played in), preseason through the Playoffs. The second part, is framed differently... that's all I'll say here.

As for what this mix is about, I think the title pretty much sums it up. It's my take on the the Kevin Garnett story: The things he's accomplished, the success he's earned, the challenges he's met, the disappointments he's experienced, the pain he's endured, the doubts he's overcome, the hard work he's put in, the teammates and coaches he's seen come and go, the friends he's lost, and all the people he's inspired and lifted.

Longtime Kevin Garnett fans will know whassup. Y'all feel me.


So, as Media Day, training camp, and the 2008-2009 season are set to begin, KG and the Celtics are the defending champs. Kevin Garnett, the defending champ -- that has a damn nice ring to it. That's whassup.

And no matter how the new season plays out, no one can take away what he and his team achieved last season. No one can take away what Kevin Garnett has accomplished in his career. And in his life.

KG's biological father is O'Lewis McCullough, but he wasn't around much when KG was growing up. KG and his two sisters were raised by their mother, Shirley.

As far as I know, KG and McCullough have had some contact over the years, but they're not close at all.

The 2nd section of this was breath-taking, literally. I didn't think I would say that for a video on YouTube, but I've been the biggest T'wolves fan for a long time now (And I've never even been close to Minnesota before), so in cycle, KG is my all time favorite athlete, as well as a role model.
