This is a fantastic idea. I have over 80 Cricut cartridges with images that I just love and I just ordered the Futura Quartet. I didn't even realize that I could use my Cricut images with it especially so easily. Thank you for showing this. I will be having so much fun. The best part is that my machine can be embroidering away while I am crafting. Woohoo!!! I can't wait.

I really enjoyed this video, I just ordered a futura ce-350 and am trying to study up before it gets here. I wish I could also find videos with step by step directions for the cross stitch program. Great job, cute ideas, I'm sure your friend loved the quilt!!!
Thanks, Alicia

Fantastic video!! After seeing this, I now KNOW that I need the Hyperfont software.

Did something happen with this video or is it my computer that's not streaming fast enough? I've been sitting here for about 10 mins, thinking it may be streaming...but it stops at the same exact spot everytime. I was sooo excited to watch this! It is like getting to the end of the season finale and having to wait 6 months to see what happens next! LOL
Is it me or video or YouTube?

What program does the computer need to convert the picture to stitches?
yary1228 1 year ago
@yary1228 The program my computer and the Futura's use is called "autopunch", and then there's another program called photostitch. I have also heard of a program suite called 5-D that is supposed to be very similar for the higher end machines, hope this helps!

@connieefurulee Thank you very much! I too got the Quartet and LOVE it, my embroidery unit was a little wonky so it's been sent to singer for repair, but I am very eagerly awaiting it's rearrival! I was able to do some sewing with the machine and it's is awesome. It's so quiet, and it really handles some of the more fragile decorative metallic threads with ease. I love it. I love my Futura! I nicknamed the Quartet, "Quarty" :-)
