That's more of a cork, you should preferably jump up and then start your twist as your toes leave the ground

perhaps you should have watched the video. it's a full twist round, not a back full. he's intentionally putting it off axis

They dont need to, its alot harder to do a round kick when you flip vertically. This is much easier than a standing full because you dont go upside down, its still tough though lol.
