In this video I show you how to speed up, reverse or slow down footage in any Final Cut (Express 4, Pro 5, 6, 7) literally ANY Final Cut.
You can change its speed by either changing the percentage of the original or giving it a new time frame.

It's VERY SIMPLE so there shouldnt be many problems. Although if you have a question don't hesitate before posting a comment or video response.
