  • @nuvi01 Please make sure the volume on your computer is turned up and not muted. Also check to see that your speakers are turned on - there is audio in this video. 

  • Thanks for the tips. Are you using an encaustic medium as your top coat, or is it strictly melted dammar?

  • In this piece she is using Enkaustikos Wax Medium X-D which has a higher content of Damar Resin to allow you to build texture more easily. It is often used as a base coat, paint extender, and top coat.

  • I really like this alot:) I've only used the method with pigment waxes+an iron...I much prefer your method+your colours look far more subtle than the ones I can buy here in the UK..really great.I'd love to do this in my life drawing class but doubt I'd be allowed to;(..cheers Sophie;)
