This is my First ever BJJ tournament I entered - got paired up against a blue belt - overall match was a little slow, but at the end I caught the blue belt in an arm bar and got the WIN!

  • i see him tappin before you let go or its just me?

  • @MrJoselleon - I let go soon as he tapped- I always keep it respectful on the mats with my opp's.

  • did you brake his arm??

  • @brazilianjiujitsu895 I did not thankfully, I was glad to see he was ok, a little sore and torn up, but everyone was uninjured.

  • @brazilianjiujitsu895 - no, he walk away injury free, just a little stretched out and sore

  • that was a great escape back to guard, and an even sweeter arm-bar man!! well done on that fight. keep up the good work.

  • @drunkship12 - Thanks bro! appreciate the feedback - btw - i checked out your site, sick sound clips you have posted, nice work

  • @kanguesso - I respect your opinion, but realize that the color of a belt does not dictate if one person is better then another - A great example would be these tainted BJJ clubs handing out belts every 6 months to a year - A lot of clubs are in it for the money and handing belts out is a primary source (unfortunately) - our clubs white belts consistently beat other club/gyms blue and purple belts. - It's about quality, not quantity -

    Take Care!

  • It was a good transition from the Kimura to the Armbar, the blue belt didn't look that flash you were probably better than him, he spent to much time trying to set up that crucifix

  • nice job man, that being said. That was a sorry blue belt...

  • Good job dude, i was thinking of taking up BJJ theres a Gracie Barra school 10mins from my house.

  • That blue belt spent way too much time in side control. At the very least, he should have moved into mount to open some options up if he could not get anything from side control.
