  • @TheMaddiPilgrim I've actually seen 2011 live. The only things I disliked about it was that it had too many soft spots and malaguena became irish.

  • @jongoeyong i definitely agree with the patriotic thing. thats why this year they did a little something different, look up 2011 JSU Marching Southerners BOA Regional Prelims .m4v

  • @TheMaddiPilgrim I'm pretty sure I didn't dislike it, but I'm just saying that it is not as entertaining as a college band should be. It's very good, don't get me wrong, I'm just saying that Patriotic shows aren't very entertaining unless there are 100 flags on the field like in 2009 (Homewood 2011).

  • @jongoeyong it shouldn't be about the concept. its about the music.

  • @jongoeyong are you kidding me. this sends shivers down my spine everytime i hear it.

  • @TheMaddiPilgrim that person didnt dislike it for the skill level or the sound, the disliked it for the entertainment this is lacking

  • MultiBandBoy, That is not the name of this show. It was "From Sea to Shining Sea". The opener was "Rocky Point Holiday" by Ron Nelson.

  • who the hell disliked this ? JSU has the best Marching band of all the colleges in the southeast !

  • i was here! We had to watch from the sidelines;we just got off the field. My drum major just got accepted into JSU & we've got 3 boys on the JSU drumline. I'm a freshman & My band made it into BOA finals for the first time in 14 years this year. We were ecstatic! We were all crying after our finals performance, Josh our drum major was crying as he was conducting the show! We ended up placing 9th. This is what made me want to be a marching southerner. EAST COWETA MARCHING INDIANS REPRESENT !
