Gameplay showing Slime Worlds 1 and 2 in the Sega Genesis version of Mick & Mack: Global Gladiators.

Despite this being a McDonald's game - something most if not all would scoff at - this is actually quite a fun and well-developed platform game. The music is catchy, the graphics and animation are all very smooth and impressive, and the difficulty is just about right.

The game was actually programmed by none other than David Perry, known for his work on games such as Disney's Aladdin and Earthworm Jim - all smash hits on the Sega Genesis and other platforms.

Your objective is basically to go around collecting the small "M" (arches) items and to reach the end of the level with at least a certain amount of them. Also, you're faced with tons of enemies, environmental obstacles, and a clock that's counting downwards, forcing you to go through the level at a moderate pace.

I highly recommend giving this one a try.

  • I just bought this yesterday at a garage sale for a dollar. I immediately played it on my old Genesis, and freakin loved it. Awesome, addicting game. What'd you shoot the video with?

  • @Zakkeneyo I recorded it on an emulator with Fraps.

  • i've been trying to remember the name of this game for the longest time. i googled "mcdonald's slime genesis" and this video came up. lots of memories as a little kid playing this with my brother

  • @tenPMstriker That's great to hear! The name is definitely a little unusual, so I'm glad you found it. That just goes to show you EXACTLY why it's important to create as many relevant video tags as possible. The more tags you have related to your video, the better the chance folks will find exactly what it is they're after! Take it easy.

  • what a worst game

  • @krassomatenkrass Wrong.

  • i used to call this game mcdonalds game

  • This game was awesome. Not to hard but not easy as well, well designed , nice design. Maybe it was a bit too short as it has only 4 levels if remember correctly.
