79 Chevy truck 454 .030 over oversize cam, gear drive 3 in exhaust. Start up and rev.

79 Chevy truck with newer model front end. Built 454. My new toy. Need to finish the interior and a few other things. Its tubbed has 31 x 18.50 back tires. 400 turbo trans. and narrowed 12 bolt rear end with 3:73 gears and locker. Start up and rev a little.

@ratrodgirl I have a cloyes gear drive on my big block dont really like the sound , but do they usually mess things up ?

@1986montecarloss496 i dont think they are rated for as many miles as a regular timing chain, but as long as your not going to be at high revs frequently or put 50,000 miles on your motor you should be fine. if you wanted to change it, it wouldnt cost much i think a roller timing chain is about $50 and its not hard to change

@5024X4 has 3 in exhaust with 3 in. one chamber flowmasters at rear end
