@jillodogsoldier The guys at Sorinex are considered pretty serious and knowledgeable lifters. I've seen a lot of people doing these wrong in "GHR form checks". This guy is right. A lot of people do what you're saying and only go back to a parallel state, or have their knees in the hip pad. You're knees should clear the pad by a few inches at start, and you should go down to a 90 degree bend at the waist, back straight/arched the entire time.
