The blues harp shouldn't be played in a hold: sounds pretty boring, you can hardly do any phrasing ... anyway
I actually know only two versions of this song:
One by the Stones
The other one by Cassandra Wilson, which I like best.
This is my rendition of this blues classic
No open tuning, just standard, with the guitar tuned down 1 note (song in G, harp C).

  • I have the same problem with the harmonica in a hold and it's very frustrating because I'm fist a harmonica player and second a slide guitar apprentice. When I play both nothing sounds good. Not your case. It's just great. Keep goin'.
