  • since when is Rio in finland? :D

  • It was as big a surprise to me...

  • I want to learn Finnish. It's such a beautiful language! And then I can go there... And to Sweden... And... *gets dreamy smile*

  • It is difficult for westerners. There're some 15 prepositional forms of each verb. There are no cognates (similar words); even the word telephone is puhalin (as I recall).

  • I'm half finn and only speak a word or two, Hiiva Poika lolz, Thank the finns for the "Molotov Cocktail" they invented it, they held their own on their own land, which isn't saying much, I loved the reindeer cavalry tho

  • The Finns stuffed the russians, due to the incompetence of the Red Army after Stalin purged the officer core. At least they had the guts to stand up and fight.

  • I speak Finnish quite well. I can understand everything on the news. mtv3 FTW.

  • i'm sorry but we finns did not kick the crap out of the nazis the nazis helped us a little with the russians

  • that might be true but what about the winter war ? where they beat the shit outta the russians then kicked crap outta the nazi's ?

  • Im from New Zealand, but i speak finish. My mums a fin. It's kind of similar to Maori....well the vowels are anyway....and the double consonants and vowels are similar to Italian as well. Complex and rediculously fast spoken language.
