had the privilege of seeing S.M. after the breakup of humble pie. he was doing the steve marriot all stars. TOTAL hard rock....all i remember of THAT night was steve marriot and later in the show frank marino and mahogany rush. MARRIOT ROCKED !!!

@StarlightJones It came after .... *but*....for proof look up Small Faces "You Need Lovin'" Robert totally ripped off Steve's style.

I had the privelige of seeing these guys many times. The best live rock n roll band live EVER. Marriott was simply awesome.

Saw them with Edgar Winter and Gentle Giant in 73. They frickin rocked the Cincinnati Gardens to the ground. The acoustics were shit in that building but somehow they overcame. Awesome live band.!!

I'm too lazy to look this up for myself, but did this song come before or after Robert Plant? If it came before, Plant stole SO much from Marriott. Kind of losing my love for Plant a little bit after hearing Marriott. I think I read somewhere that Plant used to come to all Marriott's shows, like some kind of groupie. Must've been taking notes.
