This engine is fresh out of the box, un-steamed, and so hasn't been worn in, and yet it turns over on a breath.

  • Thanks Greg, amazing isn't it, they live up to the reputation of Japanese engines. With the V4 cylinder configuration, there's no need for a flywheel.

  • That's a great video. I have never seen any reference to one of these engines before. My father gave me one of these many years ago, I also have the Saito B2E marine boiler that goes with it. I have run compressed air through it twice and that's it. It is as you say, smooth as silk.
