hi, i'm thinking of migrating to Ubuntu. tired of Windows Vista crap and i don't have that much money to spring on a MacBook. I like the Linux platform stability but I'd like to know if it will run iTunes since i need to sync my iPod from time to time to update songs. Is this possible? Cool vid by the way.
yea, Ubuntu can run any PC game/program. but.... you need to download some things. Theres something called Wine, and its pretty much a PC Emulator, it lets you open up .Exe files. another program called "Crossover" lets you install PC programs and games off a CD. Crossover costs money tho
Has anyone had probs getting the cap images to stick and show up using FC6? Also, haven't seen anyone use more than a cube for demos either. Just an idea. U can set it to use more than just a cube. Pentagon, etc.
Thanks for the clip. Actually, there are many out there, but what I especially liked about yours is that it wasn't mute. :) The folks from the Beryl team are really missing a demo on their page -- probably they are too busy with coding ;)
It compensates the effort! GNU/Linux is really cool. You can do much more powerfull things than with windows, and only with the standar programs. :) I'm glad I changed.
