  • @CJ101nicKA naw it aint just you.. expertvillage be sucking i hate everytime i get auto-linked to they sorry @**

  • You can "boothT" the high frequencies....Fuck you daffy duck!

  • Sorry man, you are wrong, every mic need a preamp (condenser, ribbon, dynamic etc) , condenser mics also need phantom power.

  • point of the preamp is to raise mic-level signal to line-level signal. That's it. This guy don't know a shit about recording.

  • Man! That is an awesome preamp- Universal Audio stopped manufacturing the M610 Preamp, they make the 610 Solo now, but its not rack gear, and the cheapest 610 preamp in rack gear is the 2 610 or the LA610 MkII which are both more expensive than this pre, why did they dis continue it?!

  • @MrGondai well I normally work with a SSl 900 AWS, or an ICON, so no im not comparing, but if you are making a how to build a studio, the pre amp is not the first thing you should concentrate on showing, plus he barely knows how to explain its use.

  • @MrGondai Well, a preamp is just one part of a studio, that's all that guy showed. I don't know what else he's got. But it you're comparing a pre in a home-studio M-Audio unit to a Universal Audio 1.500+ dollar preamp, you're treading thin ice...

  • @mandolinroad well i guess the pre amp could be good, but then again the studio? I got an M-Audio profire 610, and to KRK Rokit 5", a korg keyboard with 2 octaves and im sure its a better quality studio, with room for recording and all. Plus that pre amp only has 2 mic ins and no xlrs?

  • @MrGondai not a crappy preamp at all but the video is crap, i agree.
