SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT WATCH IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW 6FU ENDS! This is the final 0:06:29 of the Six Feet Under Series Finale. Uinsg a technique pioneered on Miami Vice, the makers of Six Feet Under use a "music video" (the tune is Sia's "Breathe Me") to finish off Six Feet Under. I'm a huge fan of the series, and this is still the best series finale I have ever seen on television (though Star Trek TNG is a close second). The clip shows you the final moments of Ruth, Keith, David, Rico, Brenda, and Claire.

So beautiful... Only Alan Ball could be behind such a masterpiece. He uses humanity amd humour while offering an understated and beautiful understanding of life and death. Six feet under is stunning. American Beauty is breath taking. Alan Ball is a natural genious.
Just finished watching the SFU finale now and am still reeling from it. I agree that this is a brilliant ending to a brilliant series, but I got to disagree with you about the Sopranos finale - it was every bit as brilliant, and final, as Six Feet Under's.
Agreed this isn't Claire's imagination, this was a beautiful ending to a series that left no question unanswered about the future of the characters we have loved for 5 seasons. I thought Alan Ball did a beautiful job of ending it. I watched the ending actually first on youtube which created my interest in the show. I thought wow this is a beautiful ending so the show must hold up to the exact same standards and it did. Best show of my life.
Credit must also be given to the enchanting music of Sia...can you imagine this ending with any other song... the music and the images..Like everyone says.. the best ending to a TV show.. ♥ EVER ♥
Just Watched the series for the first time and I was amazed with that ending. The best ending ever. btw I think it is the future not Claire imagination
why would claire imagine everyone's death? surely this is telling us what happened in her life and with her family until she finally passed away as well
Final series. I'm guessing you're from across the Atlantic then. How good are the shows on BBC? American networks don't air decent shows on non-cable televisions, so we end up having to tune in to programs that air on HBO and Showtime. What's it like over in your neck of the woods?
