  • i can't beleive they ranked this guy one spot BELOW lars ulrich on some list.this guy would literally take a huge shit on ulrich in a drum battle.

  • They WHAT?! I don't usually go for these 'so and so is better than so and so' arguments. But Lars?! That's just silly

  • Awesome, you were at the second final show in Chicago!

  • Actually this is from London

  • Hmmmmm....He's the best drummer of 90's...Phil Selway comes close...

  • Jimmy is bad ass!!!

  • Jimmy chamberlin is such an awesome drummer. Probably the best drummer from any 90's band. Hes my biggest influence as a drummer.

  • @f3nderstrat4 And Lars is a VERY overrated drummer, especially compared to Danny Carey, Neil Peart, and Nicholas Barker (not to be confused with Travis, blech!)

  • I think he could have just played quarter notes on the toms and the crowd would go just as crazy.

  • @motorjimizeppelin I wouldn't be so sure about that, actually. Look at Lars's drumming in his prime with Metallica--definitely an incredible drummer during the early 80's when they were slashing and thrashing away like wild lightning! In fact, the first three album are BEASTS and the drumming is remarkable. One cannot misrepresent Lars's slower drumming with the slower Metallica records. In fact, he's still quite incredible! especially to be his age and still lightning-fast.

  • awesome!

  • what song came right before this solo?

  • Lars beat Chamberlain? Lead foot Lars? Absolute wank. Chamberlain has so much to offer

  • Mike Byrne was inspired by this guy. It's only a matter of time before he gets even better. JC will always be JC though. The cold calm reserve of his playing, the posture, and the rhythmic pounding of those toms. You're a fucking machine Jimmy.
