@cycloneCJproducts I only used buffing wheels on the brows as you saw in the video. Wire Brush round with a 1/4 inch shank. That's all but you need a good drill motor as you have to put pressure on it. There are a couple size wheels and I use both. Smaller one for small places. Get the acid at any metal pollishing supply company.

What an incredible series! Question....I note in this video, that you use the acid and the wire wheel on the window. In a later, video, I believe I remember seeing the buffing compound stick and buffing wheel being used. Was the compound and wheel used after the wire wheel and acid or is that another method of cleaning up the aluminum. Thanks!

@PleiHoBei It can be but wasn't on this trailer. The satin look that the wire wheel gives it is a nice way for the windows to blend into the paint job a bit more. If you polish them they stand out even more and kind of add a little too much shiney for my liking. But it can be done either way.

was wondering if the double tracks on either side of the window (the tracks that hold the glass in place) required replacing, did you have a source to get new ones?

@sierra1194 No they did not require replacing. You might try VTS for parts. Vintage Trailer Supply... The link is on my website.

@NotSoOldHippy Hell no I won't. LOL... This one will be sold and as a matter of fact, it's for sale now because I am at the point where color scheme has to be decided on. So if someone wants their own favorite colors the time to put a deposit on it is now. I'll be asking $7500 when it is completed and that includes a brand new paint job.
