  • @NguyenVanThock2185 true. but i meant if he was doin any sort of long casting the bobber wouldnt work as well as some of the other methods or strike indicators...the bobber is just to big and catches to much air to be used on a fly fishing set up.

  • @Backwater58 a bobber is a strike indicator. What could be more simple?

  • why do you have a bobber on the line. why not jus a simple strike indicator.?

  • one thing ive noticed when fly fishing for crappie is the never come to the surface for a dry fly, they only really strike on streamers, and some will only strike a few inches or a foot below the surface,,
