ebuyer.com at The Gadget Show Live 2010

After weeks of blood, sweat and tears, The Gadget Show Live exhibition at the NEC finally arrived amid much anticipation. It turned out to be hugely successful and we enjoyed meeting those of you who came along.


Exhibiting between Wednesday 7th and Sunday 11th, were pretty sure most of the estimated 65,000 plus visitors entered the Game Zone at one point over the 5 days as it was heaving with people! The Game Zone became a sea of orange as we gave out our brightly hued Ebuyer t-shirts, and identifying Ebuyer staff from visitors became a difficult task!

We also gave out goodie bags, pens, caps, stickers and balloons, which were particularly popular with our younger Ebuyer fans. In fact we were all puffed out by Sunday having manually blown up what must have been hundreds of balloons!

This year was the first year that you could actually make purchases at the exhibition and anyone who ordered from Ebuyer at the show can expect their shipping refund this week!

While we were too busy to venture too far from our stand in the Game Zone, feedback from the super theatre was all good and we could hear Suzy Perry whipping the crowd into a frenzy.

We were impressed with George Boothby, Guitar Hero 3 World Champion 2008/2009, and his near perfect performances that had the crowd enthralled. How does he do it?! We also enjoyed the serious overclocking that was taking place in one corner of the Game Zone with the team from AMD.

Meeting several members of the Ebuyer forum was a highlight for us. We were delighted to put a face to some of our most frequent members including Paren, aitken08 and mattbot2.

And finally a big thank you to everyone who came along to see us, and also to our partners including, AMD, Cool IT Systems, Coolermaster, Kingston, Microsoft, Powerfreakz and Sapphire, as well as the team at Heaven Media for all their help.
