Yoko Ono: "Yang Yang" [1972]

"Yang Yang" is a song written by Yoko Ono and released on her third solo album and second double album called "Approximately Infinite Universe" released on 8 January 1973 in United States and 16 February 1973 in England. Recorded in autumn 1972 with John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Elephant's Memory Band, it is her most successful album and more cohesive. It represents a departure from the experimental avant garde rock of her first two albums towards a more conventional pop/rock sound, while also dabbling in feminist rock.

Yeah, I hate how the first thing people say about Yoko is that she is ugly. I wish our society could judge female singers by more than their beauty. I mean, look at Janis Joplin - she was a little funny looking, but man could she belt it.
