@soln4suhreborn cause they had a microphone under the ring and ran the sound thru the PA system. I loved how it sounded-went many times to watch them taping.

While I enujoy this video this is from 1981, not 1980 as in 1980 Mid-South Wrestling was taped in a studio. Also, depending on the month in 1980, the Freebirds were the reigning Mid-South Tag team champions and Junkyard DOG was the top FACE in the Mid-South area along with Col. Buck Robely and Ted DiBiase. Get your history right
