Why doesnt Michael Martin Murphy get more credit for the talent that he is. He wrote this osng and many others. I am a die hard JD fan but also a MMM fan as well. I remember when JD and MMM were on the Tonight Show togther one night when JD was filling in for Carson. MMM loooked great (super blonde-almost white-long hair and beard) and they sang Wildfire together.

Two songs personified JD so amazingly well, The Boy from the Country, and Mother Natures Son. Both which I am sure John wished he had written. Well done MM Murphy and Paul McCartney.
