@GEES44DC It's neat to see, but I would still like it if Canadian equipment ran the line...

@MontrealtrainChannel Great video you put together. I just watched it.

@TrainsONtv1 lol... they probably did. ;-P

I had de chance to follow it in june 2011,few days before the washouts that they make it stop for the season,I follow it right true La Peche Qc,and he came back,I also get the chance to see the cab and the car interior

Did they buy this train at Ikea. It must have been an s.o.b. to put together?

I have been on this train. It was awesome. Dual control stand diesel. Got a nice cab tour on the Wakefield lay over. There are still quite a few passing tracks and spurs that go off of the mainline that I imagine have not seen a train since CP shut down operations.
Great catches, Alex!
I would have liked to make a ride into it this summer, but I've missed my shot due to the washouts. I hope the railroad will be restored someday.
Unfortunately, all the canadian steam locomotives and old cars has been dismantled or sent in museums; nobody was interested to start a scenic railroad. In the USA, they are more conservativer about old railroad stock and keeping it running.
I would be curious to see a brand new steam engine built with today's technologies.

Merci! It is too bad that there isn't very much operable Canadian steam around... It could be done, it's a question of money I guess.

So this is all Swedish equipment that runs in Canada? Im kind of speechless about that, except for why and how?

@xXDJIndeedXx This is the only Swedish stuff that runs, it's a sort-of isolated tourist line. Why they would go and buy Swedish instead of restoring something more appropriate to the area, who knows. The Swedish stuff must have been awful cheap. That's the only explanation. I believe it all came oversea at once in one large ship.
