ELTON ROCKS on this recording of the classic Jerry Lee Lewis song! Elton has performed "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" live in concert throughout his career, but he made this new recording of the song for the 2001 tribute album to Sun Records "Good Rockin' Tonight".

  • @taitstreet He was certainly the king of piano rock in C.

  • c'est mieux jerry lee!

  • I'd pay that!

    good one Elton!

  • It's not a matter of judging who's better, I read Elton's biography and he understands Jerry Lee was better and faster at the piano, but who cares? both artists are legends of rock and roll, that's what counts.

  • @Echnaton1954 Jerry Lee's version of Whole Lotta Shakin is not the original. Big Maybelle and Roy Hall both had hits with the song before Jerry Lee recorded his classic version.

  • This is amazing! Just as it is a pity that those real classics like Jerry Lees original never got the chance for a nowadays sound quality like this !

  • 0:57 great piano!!!

  • cool version

  • Thank you mister Elton John for this number! Just GREAT!!!!
