Wilcox Sessions - Fitz and the Tantrums (Dear Mr. President)

Coffee and tea were the drinks of choice for this daytime session. Hopped up on caffeine instead of the usual whiskey and beer haze at first turned us around, but then the band started playing and clarity was our friend. These guys (and girl!) have skills -- a well-oiled machine with a penchant for fluid jazz improv. We may have even witnessed a new song being birthed -- while the band was riffing between takes, Fitz started laying down a vocal track on his smartphone device.
