"Britains Rhythm King" provides a good up tempo version of this tune, which was featured in the Busby Berkeley film "Footlight Parade". Vocal chorus by Billy Scott-Coomber. Recorded December 1933.
"Britain's Rhythm King", ah!, there's another one to put up my sleeve when TELLING THOSE WHO KNOW, why 'THE Maestro' was and always will be THE Maestro.
No comments-cant have that!Paynes band at this time i have said in the past is similar to the larger studio orchestras than some of the other bands, and gives a sound very similar to the version heard in the cinema, which makes this version of the "Footlight Parade" tune very good.
Unusual arrangement. Fun,
