Usually classed as an underdog console, the CD32 got a hard time for "not having many great games" (the words of the press at the time, not me!). This video is to prove that the CD32 had some great games for it, and could easily rival the other consoles...
Just imagine if Commodore was still with us...not that phoney baloney X1000 tripe!

Awesome collection. The technology was just ahead of its time. It was a 32bit system with 16bit minded developers. It just didnt gt its chance.

I don't think it had any new games, it was all shovelware. The CD32 got a hard time because it was a badly thought out, badly designed console. It might be comparable to a snes or megadrive, but isn't really. Firstly it says 32bit on the front where the others are 16bit. These games don't look next gen to me. And even if they looked alright anyone who has owned an amiga will tell you that the controls are alot less responsive. I say this as a huge Amiga fan who has owned an A500, A600 and a CD32

Nice showcase, never seen Deep Core before, its got a kind of bitmap brothers / renegade godsy kinda look to it. Spent a lot of time on some of these games, best bit in alien breed, in my opinion was when the alarm went off an the place was gonna self destruct, an pinball Fantasies / Dreams were such addictive games, great for ridiculously huge scores. Its a real shame the CD32 didn't have a larger following at the time its a great machine, in some ways it reminds me of Amstrad's GX4000 idea.
