Muse doing Hysteria and Supermassive Black Hole at Giants Stadium on September 23, 2009. The bass intro is cut out because I was having focus problems with my camera. It doesnt let me refocus while recording, so I had to stop and refocus it then start recording again. Lame, right? D: Oh well, cool performance!

  • Saw the concert last night in Raleigh, NC. Muse was f-ing amazing. Been waiting forever to have a an opportunity to see them and it was so worth the wait. Hope the exposure they have gained by opening for U2 will bring more of this rocking trio to the States. And yeah, U2 was pretty awesome too!

  • What was the setlist?

  • If U2's supporting act in Australia was Muse I would have totes gone just to see them again! Sydney can show this crowd how to move! The resistance went off over here xD

  • @PizzicatoArco I, for one, was up in the nosebleed section spazzing out. But hey, I went there for the sole purpose of seeing Muse.

  • Guys, they're not jumping around because they're U2 fans and just want Muse to get off the stage so U2 can play. They're not jumping around because crowds in North America are generally quite flat. Not all of them, but generally most crowds in the States and Canada are not the best in the world.

  • Matt probably looked down onto the crowd and said, WTF is with these people? They are all middle aged and wont even move.

  • I agree this crowd is lame, but don't even bother comparing two completely different bands, with different sounds, themes and also which evoke different feelings. I have every album by each, and I can honestly say that I love them both equally, but for totally different reasons.

  • I think Muse had big shoes to fill playing for U2. I mean, most of U2's fans are 35+ and have never heard of U2 before. My dad was there with his mates for U2, and he said that Muse blew them away.

  • We must understand that these people are middle-aged U2 fans. They don't understand Muse like we do. They are there for U2, afterall...

  • oh my god what's up with the crowd?!

  • seriously the crowd was calm as if they were reading books
