Ha ha, I hear you... Your comment just me made me laugh as it kinda describes that ago-old situation where the guy is like her best friend and actually perfect for her in many respects, but is forever stuck in the "friends zone"...

@PrincessGreen27 I think moreover that the song is showing that he loves her, and idiolizes her. But he's one of the guys who sort of hangs in backround, and is invisible to her. So he has no place in her thoughts, (Diary), though he desperately wants to, and is willing to do to anything, but the obsession with her becomes too much. [Somethings getting in the way] = Obsession, [Burn another page, look the other way] = Not finding him inside of it, only others. Etc.

But that's just my thoughts!
