@QueenofBlackRoses I have personally never met a seventh-day adventist who claimed that hell was not real. Hell is "the second death" according to Rev.20:14; 21:8. A final and eternal end to sin and death. Jude 1:7 refers to Sodom and Gomorrha as being....."set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire"....is Sodom and Gomorrha still burning today? No. 1 Peter 2:6 says they were turned to ashes. Ecc. 9:5 .....the dead know not anything....

The whole 7 day Adventist "theory" is just a bunch of confusion.Read the bible and become a simple christian.DONT get caught up with denominations. The 7 day Adventists teach incorrectly.They teach there is no hell which is a big FAT LIE! the bible tells you there is. Read the King James Bible and whatever you do dont believe in the witch craft that leads people astray called "7 Day Adventist" or any other denomations.

So the bible teaches the only way to eternal life is through Jesus Christ, right? Well how can we be punished eternally if the only way for eternal life is through Jesus?

@SEEUinHVN You are proving my point darling. God does not want any of us to go to hell but we have a choice to follow Satan or Jesus. If we follow Jesus we go to heaven and if we follow Satan to hell we go for eternal torment. So people who are preaching their is no hell are sinning and perverting the bible.If you dont believe me read "The Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:14-31)" .

Just read the bible and let the truth set you free.Dont preach lies as you will be punished for it.

@QueenofBlackRoses Seventh-day Adventists teach that the souls of the lost are not going to be tormented for eternity, but rather, that hell is a death which you can not return from., eternal death. Rev. 20:14, 15, calls it the second death. God is loving, He doesn't want to torture those who have fallen to sin, but rather to put a final end to it. The idea of the devil with a pitchfork, in a fiery place given reign over the damned is from the minds of men, tradition, and false.

@mailchibi88 You should trust the pope far less than Batchelor, because the pope and the Catholic church officially say they can ignore and change God's commands whenever they wish, something that Jesus explicitly labeled vain worship in Mark 7. Batchelor is just doing his best to follow the Bible doctrines as he understands them. The Catholic church in a number of cases officially goes against the Bible. All churches have problems, but none worse than the Catholic church.

@dotoree I would trust either of two over this gentleman with the cheesy mustache. On a side note, the non-Catholic denominations of Christianity should take a good long look at the plank lodged within their own eyes before condemning Catholicism for its problems.
