@lunchboxxx714 hall of fame and awards mean nothing, after 1988 Metallica went rock bottom, anyone with ears can tell. Only puppets change their minds with false praise such as awards. Gojira are a very unique band and shine a lot more than Metallica.

To me..back in 84-85 when i first heard RTL and it was all new to me....EVERY song on it had its own flavor & its own meaning & its own independant sound somehow.Every song was avery strong solid song. to me Everything Metallica did while Cliff was in the band was literally awesome. And even when Jason came in it was awesome too still ..But something happened just after the Black album,I think it was the extreme high level of success. Once bands dont have anything to prove,it loses its edge.

metallica has been favorite band since i could talk, till i just recently discovered this amazingly magical band lol, its like they stole my heart<3 lmfao XD, its so awesome to hear that gojira covered a metallica song
GOJIRA is AMAZING, i think they really need to be more known here in the u.s. they deserve it so much!
