SONG LYRICS:

I'm making believe that you're in my arms though I know you're so far away
Making believe I'm talking to you, wish you could hear what I say
And here in the gloom of my lonely room we're dancing like we used to do
Making believe is just another way of dreaming, so till my dreams come true
I'll whisper "Good night", turn out the light, and kiss my pillow
Making believe it's you

I'm making believe that you're in my arms though I know you're so far away
Making believe I'm talkin' to you, wish you could hear what I say
And here in the gloom of my lonely room we're dancing like we used to do
Making believe is just another way of dreamin', so till my dreams come true
I'll whisper "Good night", turn out the light, and kiss my pillow
Making believe it's you

And here in the gloom of my lonely room we're dancing like we used to do

Making believe is just another way of dreamin', so till my dreams come true
I'll whisper "Good night", turn out the light, and kiss my pillow

Making believe it's you

  • Wikipedia tells me this was the B side of "Into each life some rain must fall". The latter song is featured in some video games (Fallout 3, L.A. Noire), so I'm happy I can listen to the "B-side" here.

  • @LordFvckingHorst That's correct. I also have the flipside posted, which was in Fallout 3.

  • Amazingly beautiful. Thanks a million times for this.

  • Thank you for this vintage song, sung by the best, she makes the others look like rather sad wanna-bes. Thank god you've had the foresight to keep this cool old record.
