It is always a special occasion when anyone reaches the next level in their training but its even more of an occasion when someone is awarded their Black Belt. It is a rare thing in this day and age for anyone to be interested in anything for a long period of time let alone something as demanding as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This most coveted belt often takes the better part of a decade to achieve and with the constant highs and lows of training there is no way to overstate what an awesome achievement receiving a black belt is. At this years Mundial Camp, Jacare saw it fit to graduate 5 of his longest standing students to the top of the Jiu-Jitsu mountain. Congratulations to Eric Gravitt (Atlanta, GA), Humberto Borges (Atlanta, GA), Maajid Al-Kush (Atlanta, GA), Aquil Abdush-Shkur (Atlanta, GA), and Paulo Abreu (Hayward, CA) you guys are an inspiration to us all!
