Katharine Hepburn didn't choose to suffer from stigma, and I applaud that. It is not your disease making you suffer, but the choice you've made to give it importance in your life. This video says "It's not important." But whatever you do, do not let it or any comedy alleviate your suffering or help you to learn or grow in any way. You are clearly getting a lot of payoffs in life from playing the self-pity game, and I wouldn't want to cut in on your action with a dose of truth and reality.
