The 'Big Bang' Cast Talks Show Romance - Sept 22 - 2011

Fresh off his big Emmy win, Jim Parsons, and the rest of The Big Bang Theory cast, dished to Nancy O'Dell about what fans can expect to see during the new season.

One of last season's cliffhangers was the drunken makeup session between Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar).

"Raj gets the wrong idea that there's a spark there," Kaley blurted when asked what would transpire between the two characters following their passionate dalliance.

And then of course there's Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik), who have been making baby steps in their relationship.

"I really do love the way it's been going," Jim admitted.

"I'm thinking of it like planets revolving around each other," said Mayim. "Like, sometimes we get closer but it's still that same orbit that is very far."

And let's not forget Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette's (Melissa Rauch) planned trip to the altar.

"Maybe the wedding will happen, maybe it won't," said Melissa.

"It seems like every step that happens there's just like a horrible obstacle in the way," Simon added, going on to list Howard's mother as the biggest road block of them all.

his relationship with Amy is bordering on cute/slightly creepy. but him and Penny just don't fit together in my mind. it would give me nightmares. night terrors infact.

But under no circumstances should Sheldon ever hook up with Penny unless its as some kind of silly misunderstanding joke type thing that is used to convince Sheldon to finally kiss/have sex with Amy and lose his virginty and to give Penny that push she needs to make it work with Leonard for the long haul i.e. they get married and have lots of babies Shenny is just wrong because they are too much like brother and sister, plus it would break Amy and Leonard's hearts and they don't deserve that.

The couples should be as followed Sheldon and Amy aka Shamy, Leonard and Penny, Howard and Bernadette, Leslie and Stuart (Because I can see that relationship being like Darlene and David all over again and I always loved them) then finally Raj should either come out of the closet or hook up with Sheldon's hot twin sister. :)
