bigup, this is really cool. Dubstep has become a very boring genre and it's cool to see some guys doing something original!

@johnarkell Excellent... that's really helpful, thank you! I just didn't know what I was looking for... just fired up the autofilter and set it to low pass and that's pretty much what I was after. Was wondering if I could assign certain positions on the 'rate' dial to specific buttons, then use an expression pedal to control the 'amount' (or mix)? Not sure if the rate / button thing can be done, but could setup four duplicate tracks set at different rates and hope between them with buttons?
Loving this! I'm looking for similar bass sounds and am new to ableton, quick question?! I know you're running the M9 through ableton to filter both bass and drums, but how are you setting up the LFOs in ableton? I couldn't find an LFO effect in ableton that will work on an analogue input. I was hoping I could assign a filter, link an lfo to the filter freq, assign four midi stomp switches to 1/16, 1/12, 1/8 and 1/4 beat synced LFO rates, then use an expression pedal for mix. Is that possible??

@rubberglover thanks for watching.... yes.... but use a specific button rather than an expression pedal for more control. mess around with the auto filter, and experiment with side-chaining via silent rythmic midi channels, then try using different channels for specific effects, and try arming those channels independently. you need to set up your ableton rig in the most practical way for your performance needs, i cannot explain the best way for you to do that... just try out your ideas... :-)
