This is the regular train that serves the needs of the people of Armenia's Shirak region. It has not been replaced for more than forty years and still bears the (now rusty)symbols of the Soviet Empire. Convenience and comfort are two things one will not find here.

  • you people are so obnoxious

  • Very interesting video. I have never seen a locomotive pulling a commuter electric train before (electrichka in Russian).

Elektrichkas in Armenia must be so ancient, they don't work any more..

  • I hate trains. Horse travel is the way to go. Ahhh I long for the 4th century.

  • I was in Armenia in 2007 August for a whole month. From Yrevean to Shorja, it took four hours with that train. The "chairs" were awful. The trin has been the same for over 30 years without any upgrades. Half of the window glass of the train wasn't there. They really need to upgrade it. It was about $5 for 3 people, so it is not like it is free. I know $5 is not much here in USA but in Armenia it is still money for gyuxatci people (mostly they use the train to go to Yerevan or other villages)

  • they need to replace the tracks and upgrade the whole fucking system

  • why didn't you guys go inside? how would you know what it is if you don't experience it yourself?

  • ..however they collect enough money from SPIURK every year under this pretext...
