Let me know what yall think; questions and commentary are always welcome. Here's a quick walk-around of my beloved 1986 Toyota 4x4...I hope Marty Mcfly would be proud. I have owned the truck for going on 11 years, looking forward to many more years of enjoyment. Engine bay needs dressing up (no accessory block for electronics); here is a list of modifications to the best of my knowledge:

  • It looks like yours is a fuel injected. I have a 87 with a carb

  • @ShookOne13 Yes it is. carburetion was standard on these trucks up till about 88, EFI was a DX / SR5 option (i.e. not standard equipment); fuel injection was not standard until 1989.

  • got a question ..i have a 94..just put an pitman arm and idle arm on it and lined up. but still pulls and wonders on the road.. do i need a sterring stablizer or something else..i have 31x15.50 on it ??? iam lost the truck was garage kept when i bought it ..i love the truck but i need help ??? what can i try ????

  • @hockeyfreak043 not sure, maybe the alignment wasn't done correctly. mine's never wandered, and it has 33x10.50s on it now. no steering stabilizer.
