The weather was just too good to work out indoors today so the goCrossFit gang gathered at Percy Warner Park. Blake created a WOD around a long set of stone stairs with several natural plateaus. At the bottom we partnered up and started with pull-ups and kettlebell swings. We then ran with medicine balls to the first plateau, where we took turns throwing and chasing the ball to the second station: med ball cleans. More running up stairs followed by push-ups, then a final dash up the longest stretch of stairs to the top. We were all sucking wind but ready for more, so we did a second round, this time with K2E, KB snatches, sit-ups and box jumps at the bottom. Special thanks to the Castros for bringing the portable pull-up bar and a two-child-and-one-dog cheering squad.

This was great to see! Do you mind my asking about the pullup bar? I haven't seen one like it - it looks really stable. Is the height adjustable? If not, what brand, etc. is it? Was it custom made? Thanks!
