This video is from the alien encounter of Dr Reed (Dr Jonathan Reed or John Rutter).

This video contains a series of photographs taken of the black, angular object that Rutter calls the Obelisk.

The photos are organized starting from the farthest away to the closest. So be patient and watch the complete video so that you can see the Obelisk close up.

You will notice that in the majority of photos there is foliage in front of the Obelisk that periodically obscures portions of the Obelisk.

I mention this because when Rutter released the very first photo of this object it was heavily critiqued because it did not have any foliage obstructing the Obelisk - and so people were claiming that was proof it was just PhotoShopped into a forest scene. Keep in mind that this was only an issue because he had not released the video footage of that same object...which would have rendered the whole "PhotoShop" issue moot.

In any case, the reason there was no foliage blocking the Obelisk in that initially released photo was because Rutter had cleared the foliage in front of the Obelisk prior to taking that picture so that he would have a completely unobstructed photo of it. It was the last picture that he took of the object and he wanted it to show the entire Obelisk.

Nearly all of the other photos have some foliage blocking the Obelisk and there is video footage (see Woods Footage) of the same object. So it is clearly a real, physical object.

Lastly, the color differences are due to the fact that some of the photos were taken with color slide film and some were taken with conventional film.

I tried to adjust the tint to remove the excess green caused by the color negatives but I was not very successful. I think the conventional film photos (those that aren't overly tinted in green) are a better representation of what the colors really look like.

  • the only problem i have with this video is that he took so many photos of the craft or object yet all of these photos are taking at one angle?not only that the terrain an size seems to differ between photos also in one photo there are tree's very close to this object then in another there are no trees? dont try an tell me that he cleared the trees also i read the description an info..anyways id like to believe this but? very interesting story thanx for the upload.:)

  • @poiislifelifeispoi": They are NOT all at one angle. Look closer, they are from several different distances and angles. The trees you say are missing are NOT missing...they are simply not SEEN at the angle he took the picture. I have studied this evidence for over (10) years and there are NO inconsistencies in the photographs. Also, even though you can't tell, there was a steep drop off on the far side of the Obelisk...and that is why he could not take pictures from that side.

  • I am tending to believe this cause all of this would be extremely hard to fake back then, plus there are loads of other evidence in this strange case.

  • Better a skeptic than a fool. That's why I don't readily buy into the Billy Meier story, photos & videos, or the Apollo 20 tech/ET body retrieval as much as Apollo 20 itself, or any of the known Apollo moon landings & close encounters with ETs, Mars & other planetary ET bases. But this is about Dr. Reed and his horrifying experience. The footages are, to put it simply, compeling & unequalled. Best wishes to you, Dr. Reed & everyone else involved.

  • Joan thank you very much for taking the time out to answers our concerns. Your dedication to the cause is much to be admired. I believe that the truth is out there & this case with Dr. Reed is the closest to the truth. I have stated earlier that I am a bit skeptical & that only goes as far as this case is concerned for I am a true believer of UFOs & ET life. I'm leaning towards believing this one more than any of the other cases. I approach each video cautiously & with skepticism.

  • Some cases are really to good to be true.

If one believes or not thats something we have to find out for ourselfs.

After years of seeying this case and Bill myers photos of flying ufo's soooo close to him i still don't know.

    Anyway good pictures.

  • @valleyofneptune: I mean he really got close enough to the Obelisk to touch it...and in fact he says that he did touch it. And just to be clear, he did not retouch any photos - as there are actual negatives that all of his pictures can be compared to in order to be certain they were not retouched. The videos and pictures all became available in 1998. And technology back then was not what it is today in terms of consumer tools for photo-editing.
