Check out my Secret Jardin Dark Room 150 with the 600w light system, in-line ducting with fan ventilation and carbon filter. Plus a wireless thermometer/hygrometer sensor inside so i can tell what the temp is without even having to go inside. Set up with a digital timer on a 18/6 cycle. All wires are zip-tied and hidden away as best I could. I think it came out really nice. What do you think?

Supplies used:
Secret Jardin DR150, Hydrofarm Daystar AC hood, Lumatek 600w dimmable ballast, Vortex 6" in-line fan, Active Air 6" booster fan, Goblin carbon filter, 6" insulated ducting w/ clamps, Vornado circulation fan, Oregon Scientific wireless thermometer/hygrometer, Intermatic digital timer, 600w Hilux MH & HPS bulbs.

  • How do you like your tent? pros-cons anything you would do different?

  • @Reapers65

so far everything is good. i think i planned it out ahead of time enough that it has all come out just the way i wanted. if i could do it again, id probably set it up in my garage, or buy the outdoor storage shed from costco for 600 bucks so i don't lose living space inside my home.

  • so what was the final keep??? let me know when you finish up, hopefully you post a vid...

  • @AdamDrake711

i still have another month or so of flowering. I'm going to continue posting progression videos as the plants finish.

  • 2 questions??? At this point how considerable is the smell with this setup??? And also how much weight would you say you have suspended w/ the current setup??? Thanks.

  • @AdamDrake711

I guess it depends on the day. I have the vent flowing air through my window, some days its windier and I can hardly smell a thing when i open the room where the tent is, other days there's a slight smell of marijuana lingering. Nothing that would seriously worry me or that leaves that room when the door is shut. I'm not sure about the weight, but everything hanging is very high quality and has some serious weight to it, i wouldn't be surprised if it's close to 80 pounds or more.

  • @MrDonses While your comment is funny, it is also valid.

  • Doesnt the carbon filter need to scrub the air dureing flowering 24/7 ? ? Do you put a timer on your fan dureing flowering when odor is an issue or add on to what your showing us now in this early stage of growth? Ive seen it illustrated where you have your filter outside the tent but that requires a second fan for cooling your fixture which would add to the noise un stelth like with two fans but I guess if you want to air cool your hood in a hot climate would require this.

  • @Reapers65 i would put another door opposite the door so i can get to the back

  • nice i use a jardine in my setup check out my grow on my channel sub if you like

  • What do you have in you air intake?

  • @MrDonses LOOLOLOLO I thought the same. There are so tiny.

  • Best tents are 4x8 and 5x5 SJD/DRP

  • @MrDonses i laughed at your comment because your sat there talking ya shit to him when hes growing it and your just WATCHING IT ;)

  • @MrKeg1234 With a smaller tent. I have been told to connect ducting to one side of reflector leaving the other side open then run ducting to the fan that is ducted to the filter postioned outside the tent. What this will do is draw in stinky air from the room thru the light and filter it outside the tent. you will need to leave the bottom vent in your tent open so the suction created from the fan will draw in fresh air. this is based on a 6" fan. It should alleviate your balloon problem.
