  • Can you believe that this was made after the 80's version? Look at how fake the sandworm looks in this one!

  • What the fuck happened to visual effects in the last 30 years? Why does everything look more fake now than it did with less advanced technology?

Also, the audio effects for this scene are pathetic. The worm has no gravity in it's motions or any gravitas in it's actions. It doesn't look ponderous or slow, nor does it seem large and imposing. It really just fails to match up with how well Lynch did things with the film, even if he mutilated the source material. He at least made things seem big.

  • @TheDSil It looks more realistic then your mom's titties, thats for sure.

  • @realtsavo At least THE stillsuits. Typo correction.

  • @AmazingL4rry At least they stilsuits where closer in this version, and honestly, they walked around without their masks in the 80's dune as well, this version was MUCH closer.

  • Are you kidding? The Miniseries was MUCH closer to the book.

  • he doesnt climb the worm though, it rolls which take him to the top of it!

  • Dune 1984's characters were close as how I pictured them and the costumes were far better than this. This was like a remake from someone who hasn't completely read the book lol.

  • Compared to Dune from '84, this looks like a school play re-enactment.

  • Oh maaan... it's something with my eyes or they just stayed for all this time on the fck!*$g stage? ( 0:07 - 0:52 ) Just look at this wallpaper of desert just behind the sandbox on which they stay. Pathetic... Who really wants to see Dune, should see it through eyes of the book. None version is perfect even that made by Lynch.
