Thank you, this was very helpful - my renders look fantastic. I have one question - I'm used to using AVIs instead of QuickTime MOVs, and of course I like the uncompressed/losslessness of them when I may render someething in AE to later be inserted as part of a bigger project that I'll edit in a different program. Problem is, the video is "squished" horizontally as well as having strange colours when I render with AVI. Know what this is, or how to fix it?

@ForerunnerEditz You need to buy bigger RAM then, because it's already full. You might have alot free space on your computer, but RAM is full of shit.

the problem: the video is 3 seconds long (2:36) and the file size is 10,9 MB. So a normal movie (90 minutes) is (90x60x3,6) 19440 MB (THAT IS 19GB!!).... why does DVD makers don't share the secret :(..
