Sometimes all we can do is cry
Sometimes there are no words to speak
Sometimes it hurts too much to speak
Or to pray
Sometimes you just need to cry
And release it all.

He's ok with that
He sings over you as you're crying.

Jesus,
He turns our tears into prayers
When we have nothing to speak
When pain surrounds and all we can do is cry
He turns those tears into prayers
He knows the desires of our heart
When nothing makes sense
And you don't know what to pray

He holds you

When it's just you and Jesus
And there's no one else around
When all you can do is sit and cry

Is look up to the heavens

Or rest in His peacefulness
