  • I am getting hooked up with one soon maybe Would my rp 255 sound ok if I put the amps Eqs on noon caue All I am looking for is a clean amp

  • @akaboo69 Are you going to be using just delay and chorus with the rp 255? I'm sure it could carry over, but I don't think it would respond to any kind of pedal EQ very well. Being an older amp it tended to break up easily when any pedals that weren't true-bypass were put in front of it. It is however a great clean amp, just not much else.

  • I have just bought a bassman 100 1973, could U tell me what tubes are in it and what they are used for in general please, looks like it has 4 6l6 tubes, and 3 other tubes ? mine is the one with middle and master volume

  • @UKToneKing I'm sorry, I'm not an expert on all of the Fender Bassman amps and am unfamiliar with that amp. You could very well be right thinking they're 6l6's, but they may be 6V6's. A certified amplifier technician would be the best person to show the amp to and find out from.

  • do U ever jumper the channels, bass and normal together, that is good

  • Bass channel with the Bass down on that amp works well. Cheers!
