I thank God for my dad who always played his music in the car like Christopher Cross, The Eagles, Don Henley, Bruce Springstein, Earth Wind & Fire, Pink Floyd, Van Morrison, etc. Not only did it instill good taste and appreciation for real music in me, but they are the part of him, the peace and magic I hold onto at 19 in a harsh world. This song makes me think of all the goodness of my childhood. Thank God for music.

Wow, that was simply awesome. How many times over the years have I heard this song in the back round -- everywhere, speakers in the mall, on a radio station I didn't tune in to. But now, turning 32 tomorrow, I take the time to listen to good, and heartfelt music - that was being made when I was born - and it's like listening to it as if it were freshly pressed today. It's the kind of music I like listening to now a days.
