Orlando Int'l is now the busiest airport in FL. In passenger numbers. It beat out Miami a few years ago, which still handles the most international flights. But pure people numbers - Orlando is now the sunshine state #1 destination airport. Delta has been flying large wide bodies ( L-1011,767) for years in/out of there.
@rainbowkeropi or because placement of the aircraft... sometimes airlines will use heavy aircraft for placement, flying a 777 from DFW to ORD or a 747 from LAX to SFO. if the aircraft is needed somewhere but it's in another city, they will use the aircraft and move it to that other city, whether it be only a couple hundred miles away.
@2bherealone no just the 767

@kalehockey I've been down there in a triple 7 before, heavies are very common during the summer.
MrJwill919 8 months ago
@kalehockey exactly it is only a 1 hour 35 mins gate to gate I think it is because passenger traffic warrant it. I guess fuel cost is not a issue.

@packerfan084 Indeed, it is extremely annoying..
However, there are always crying spoiled kids onboard.
My last trip was from Houston TX to Frankfurt Gemany , 10 hours long in this whining and crying.... terrible.
And it seems the parents don't even are bothered by it... while everybody wants to strangle the kid.
